EXTRAORDINARY TREKKING FOR ADVENTURE SEEKERS:
Edge of Frey.
One of the best and more challenging treks, an 8-hour journey and set out on a 1000 metres descent. Adventure begins at 2000 masl, with a walk to the ridge where you will be dazzled by an impressive wide panoramic view of the steppe on one side and on the other, Nahuel Huapi Lake, Victoria Island, Peninsula Llao Llao, Tronador Mt, Bella Vista and Tres Reyes Hills and in clear days you can even see the Chilean volcanoes. Fill your eyes with these magnificent views before you start your descent. You will come across altitude lagoons on your way to Frey refuge where you will stop for a well deserved break before you continue your descent towards the base of Cerro Catedral.
Bella Vista:
A magnificent 6-hour trekking to the clouds among lenga and coihue trees. Go up on a steep slope all the way until you reach the mountain edge. Get surprised by the gorgeous sights around you: the mountain on the one side, Nahuel Huapi and Moreno Lakes, Victoria Island and Cerro Lopez. Continue your way to the top, where you will meet a dazzling sight of the Tronador Mt. Descend to the same path.
Goye:
Take the road less travelled in another one of our favourite 6-hour trekkings to the top of Cerro Goye. A less demanding hike that will reward you with exquisite Lake Nahuel Huapi and mountain views. The adventure starts at Colonia Suiza.
